During an interview, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that Iran can no longer effectively utilize its proxies against Israel, referring specifically to the Palestinian armed group Hamas and the Lebanese political and military organization Hezbollah.
Speaking at a memorial service in Jerusalem, Gallant remarked, “Over the past year, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and its security agencies have turned the tide of war, achieving unprecedented successes on multiple fronts.”
He further explained that Hamas can no longer operate as a military network in the Gaza Strip, and that Hezbollah’s senior command and much of its missile capability have been destroyed.
Gallant concluded by asserting that both organizations are no longer viable tools for Iran.
