On September 29, the “Art of Community—Strengthening the Awareness of the Chinese National Community” calligraphy and painting exhibition officially opened at the China Women and Children Museum. This event is guided by the Beijing Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission and organized by the Beijing National Unity and Progress Promotion Center.
During the opening ceremony, attendees were treated to over a hundred stunning pieces of artwork, organized into three distinct themes: “Shared Roots, Shared Prosperity,” “A Tapestry of Cultures,” and “Harmonious Coexistence.” Among the highlights were Qi Gong’s “Scroll of National Unity,” Shen Peng’s “Journey through Zhao Jun’s Hometown,” Ouyang Zhongshi’s “Joy of All Peoples,” Liu Bingsen’s “Branches of the Same Tree,” and Han Meilin’s “Running Bull.” Each piece showcased a unique artistic vision, captivating the audience with its distinct perspective and expression.
The artworks powerfully illustrate the unity and collaborative spirit among various ethnic groups, encouraging viewers to appreciate the beauty of traditional calligraphy and painting, while also reinforcing the sense of the Chinese national community.
This exhibition creatively combines original artworks with digital presentations, providing visitors with a multi-sensory experience that engages sight, sound, touch, smell, and atmosphere. Many attendees shared that they felt truly “immersed in the artwork” throughout their visit.
This exceptional exhibition will be open to the public until October 28.
