Changle Overseas Chinese High School Alumni Association celebrated its 5th anniversary and 200 people returned to the big family

The 5th anniversary celebration of the Changle Qingzhong Alumni Association in the United States took place recently in Flushing, with nearly 200 attendees, including diplomats from the Chinese Consulate General in New York and staff members from City Councilmember Huang Min-yi’s office. Wang Gangqin, the president of the association, highlighted the success of many alumni who have graduated from Changle Qingzhong, stating, “The alumni association feels like a big family where everyone can find a sense of belonging. We hope that all members will support and encourage each other.”

Consul Xing Yulin remarked that the Changle Qingzhong Alumni Association not only connects former students living in the U.S. but also actively gives back to the community, serves fellow compatriots, and promotes traditional Chinese culture. She expressed her hope that the association would continue to serve as a bridge, fostering friendly relations between China and the United States.

Chen Zhaoyin, the president of the American Fujian Association, also attended the event, presenting a plaque to the alumni association as a gesture of encouragement for its ongoing growth.
